i had a beardie that laid eggs a month ago when i first put them in the incubator most were dented in and as days went by they started to pop back out well now they are starting to cave in again its only been bout a month in the incubator should i keep spraying them with water a couple times a day to try to get them popped back out when i candle them i see veins and stuff inside

Answer
Hi Larry,
Eggs do start to cave in a bit when they are close to hatching but in your case, they haven't been in the incubator long enough for that yet.  Humidity should be 70% or a bit higher.  If you aren't using something to measure the humidity, I suggest you do.  Wal Mart has a nice unit for about $20 that will measure humidity and temperatures. Until you know the level of humidity, be careful on misting too much...mold forms when too wet and they will dent when not enough humidity so use caution. Also, you want to start keeping a log as to days eggs were laid, put into the incubator, daily temperatures, humidity, number of eggs, etc.  All this info will help in the future if you decide to hatch more eggs.
