Question
Can giant plated lizards be housed together and if so, what gender combinations are acceptable i.e. 2 females, 2 males, or combinations?

Answer
 As a general rule of thumb I always say to each reptile, his own territory.  Normally lizards are territorial and come together only to fight or mate.  A male will tolerate a female, but he will stress her by constantly trying to mate with her and cause her to stop eating and eventually fall ill.
