Baby Anole

Question
QUESTION: I have a baby anole. His leg looks like a blister that's reddish pink. Should I be
worried about this? Does it need to go to the vet?

ANSWER: Hello Hannah,

Is he housed with other babies, or alone?
Do you have anything that he could have burned himself on?
At the moment, I would get some antibiotic ointment to put on it right now.  Does it have any fluids coming out of it, or not?
You will want to make sure it doesn't get infected, so, keep a close eye on it & you might want to take him to the vet if it doesn't improve.
We need to figure out if he burned himself on something or what could have caused that.

QUESTION: ok thanks well what ointment sure i use and yes there is a bigger anole with him

Answer
Hello Hannah,

Please take the larger anole out because that is what has most likely happened.  He probably bit the baby.  It is not advised to leave a baby in with an adult.  So, please get them separated as soon as you can.
You can use neosporin or poloysporin ointment daily.

Let me know how he is doing.
