Bearded Dragon lays infertile eggs

Question
Our 2 year BD just layed about 10 yellow capsules yesterday, we didn't even know she could lay infertile eggs until we read it on this website!!  We don't know what to do now.  She has eaten a couple of the "eggs".  Should we take them all out?  Can she get sick from eating them?  We immediately went out and got her a box ready with all the things recommended, but it seems as though she is done laying them.  What should we do?  How often will she do this?  What can we do to prepare for next time?  We don't plan on breeding her.  PLEASE HELP!!

Answer
Hi there, sorry for the delay, I just stumbled upon this in the question pool.

This is a normal cycle and will most likely Happen once a year. You can't really stop them. Eating the eggs won't hurt her at all, in fact, the calcium is very good for her. The most important thing right now is to make sure she gets lots of D3 and calcium as her stores will be depleted. I recommend Rep Cal Ultrafine Calcium with D3 and Rep Cal Herptavite they cost a little more then Reptivite but are amazing supplements. You can remove the eggs and discard them shes not going to care.
