Question
hi ..... im writing you because your the only person on this site who might know something about green anoles...i dont know if you can help me or not but here it goes...i got a green anole about a week and a half ago. i even baught a book to read about them...the problem i am having is that im having a hard time getting him to eat. i first tryed those canned crickets but he wouldnt touch them. then i bought live crickets and he only ate 2. so now i am trying the small live crickets but he still isnt eating...any suggestions? also ...the book says they should be aggressive and try to bite your fingers and that they dont like to be handled...but the one i have loves to be held...does this mean he is sick? i do know that he is still drinking. these animals are really complicated!!! also will she be able to find the crickets in the cage if they are hiding under things? i know im asking alot, but these are things the book didnt tell me. i hope you can ansew some of these questions...any other advice would be greatly appriciated. thanks.

Green Anole - will rather eat Baby size Mealworms more than the crickets.Just put the mealworms in a small dish that  is short and not to deep for them to get out.
When crickets are hiding. Your Green Anole will find them. No worries..
Your green anole is not sick after being held. It's part of who they are. For example: My Green Anole is not use to being held. Because he consider himself being in the wild in the aquarium.
Make sure your Green Anole is getting Vitamins powder on there food when giving it to them. Just remember that.
Not all Green Anoles are arressgive.. Just be careful aboout reading some of the pet books. I have read that green anoles can bite when handling. which can be true..But not all the times.

I hope this helps you out. If there any other question.. Please contacy me again and I'll be glad to answer your questions.  Good Luck
