Gechos

I recently bought a gecko and he's very anti-social. He hides all day in his rock and he barely eats. Also when I try to pick him up he's temperamental. What can I do to make my gecko more active?

To better answer your question I would need to know what type of Gecko it is as there are Geckos which are not very tame or friendly.  Also don't try to handle it for at least a week after bringing it home as they are still adjusting to their new environment.  Please email me with the type of gecko and I can help you further.
