Question
I have a female bearded dragon approx. 1 year old . on Wednesday it at it's greens and had it's superworms and crickets . It was active and looked normal . On Thursday morning when we woke up and it was limp and looked like it was in a deep sleep I know they hibernate , but I thought that was in the winter ?? On Wednesday night i brought it to an aminal hospital by my place at the time they didn't have anyone there who specializes in reptiles , but they said it looks like it was hibernating . So I kept the lights on for it today . It's belly is still soft , but it has started drooling . Is this normal or is she died ??

Answer
So let me get this straight...  The vet at the hospital couldn't tell whether or not a lizard was dead?  I'm 3500 miles away and it sounds dead to me.  They don't go completely dormant.  It would still open it's eyes, breath, drink, and even walk around a little bit.  I can't see your dragon so I can't tell, but a vet should be able to.  If it doesn't respond at all, it's dead.  Not breathing=dead.  Smells bad=dead.
