Mali in Brumation?

I was just given a mali approx 4 yrs. old - do they brumate?  All he does is sleep - all temps r where they should be.  When I take him out of the hidding spot he will eat and bask in the heat lamp - I'm in Ohio so it's that wonderful weather time......

I have never kept Uros but I did some searching and here are a few links to a few care sheets for them

In my web search I finally found a source that states that this species of lizard does indeed brumate

However as with any species of reptile-brumation should only be encouraged if the animal is healthy with a good weight
