Hi Tracie, I had "too many follow ups" so I will just continue our conversation this way I suppose.  I know that the light bulb came from Petsmart.  I do not know the brand but I do know that it is the same kind that my neighbor used for the first four years so I don't think that could be it.  I wasn't using it very often through the summer because he is by the window and it was already plenty warm.  I have the light on now from sun up until sundown.  The temp in the day is around 85-88 f and at night 74/75-78 ish.  It is a small round fluckers stick on one.  He does LOVE the baby food which I have been using a dropper a few times a day to give him water and food.  So far he has not really eaten anything solid but is mostly drinking the broth.  I added calcium powder to it the other day as well.  He has gained a bit of weight and his head has started to scab a little bit.  Thanks :)

That is ok, they only allow so many follow ups.  :-))

Great he loves the baby food & he is eating it pretty well now.  So he has gained some weight also?  When you get a chance just send some new pictures so I can see his little head.
The light should be fine then no problem.  The round stick on type of thermometer though might be off a little bit.  Maybe you could try to find a digital probe or a temp gun to double check the temperatures.  

Let me know how he is doing.  I am glad to hear he is doing better now.
