Pale beardie

Question
I work for a reptile rescue as a volunteer and found one of my female beardie's very pale, almost white from her normal dark brown color. She is not interested in food. I think she is holding eggs as I feel tiny marble like spheres in the belly. I have another female that is holding eggs but she is not pale.My concern is that two weeks ago I found a different beardie in the same enclosure that had also turned pale and it died last week. I've isolated the pale female in our clinic and would like to know if I have a serious infection spreading through our Beardie habitat. Thank-you.

Answer
Have you tried making a proper laybox for your girls?  They may be wanting to lay badly and have found no proper place in which to lay.  Laybox instructions can be found here:

Pallor can mean she's straining or now eggbound and should see a vet. But I would get that laybox made and give her a chance, if she doesn't start digging, to the vet she should go.
