Bearded Dragon bloating

Question
We have an adult male bearded dragon who has recently experienced a bloated tummy.  One visit from the reptile vet suggested he had simple 'gas'.  He has been wormed and has had Batriol.  He is eating and exreting as normal and drinking ok.  He is moving around as normal and no other abnormal behaviour observed.  No change in diet, which consists of crickets, greens, nutrobal (once a week.  His substrate is corn cob (and always has been) and as far as we know he has not ingested any substrate.  He shares a very large viv with a female and they have been happy together for around 6 months.  Can you help?

Answer
Frankly I would take them off the corn cob.  No sense taking chances.  Corn cob, like walnut shell is actually sharp and if accidentally ingested, can cause lacerations internally.  If he needs to pass gas, baby warm baths and tummy rubs may help him release.  Also Acidophiliz+ which is a digestive conditioner can also help. What kind of greens has he been getting?  Cabbages, and anything else in the brassica family is well known to create a lot of gas.
