My boa caprice

Hi there...i recently found out caprice had mites.so i jumped onto the net to find a cure....i found 1 "baby oil" after doing as told i put caprice back into here cage not thinking about her heat source.if im not mistaken i think she got a little sunburnt.how can i help her,wat can i do,will it scare her for the rest of her long life to come?i feel realy realy bad and stupid...please help me and caprice.

Hi Justin I do not keep snakes but I do know of a product that is often used by snake keepers called Prevent-A-Mite
It is widely talked about for treating mites on the snake forums

As for Caprice's sunburn-That's a tough one

I would think that the baby oil has got to come off and unfortunately I do not know what would be sage to use to try and get it off her

I believe that she will be OK after her next shed as long as the burns are not bad

You might try FaunaClassifieds.com and Kingsnake.com snake forums and see if anyone else has had a burn problem and what they did to treat it

If they look bad-please get her to a vet asap
