Question
are theses reptiles compatible? i have a 70 gallon tank with the frogs in the top section and recently got an iguana and water dragon, both very young and would like to put them in the lower section for now. it is much larger than the top but the frogs have chosen to stay up there b/c it is dark. they occasionally go to the bottom at night. would it be harmful to any of them to co-habitat? also, since i am new to the iguana and water dragon, any special tips would be great. thank you, julie

Answer
Hello, No this is Not at all suitable green iguanas are to eat Soley vegeterian diets and are easily stressed when they are babies....the water dragon eats only live bugs and these can disturb and stress the lizard since the frog eats bugs as well....Also a Green Iguana needs a huge adult cage something like 6 feet tall 6 feet across and 3 feet deep is fair but bigger is better as these lizards do get 6 feet long some males max out at 7 feet. The water dragon needs a cage that is 4 feet wide, 4 feet tall and 2 feet deep would be perfect.....the single frog can go into a twenty gallon tall tank unless you plan to buy more frogs. I never reccomend housing diffrent types of reptiles together because of bacteria issues as well as if the lizards are carrying any sort of infection or bacteria the frog will get sick or if one lizard is ill it will infect the others.
