Question
i live in sanfrancisco and i have a litle 3 month beardie but the minimum humedity he is around 65-75 percent. isnt that to much should i get a dehumumidifer and if so wer can i get 1?

Answer
Hi Nick, Are you using a hygrometer to measure that humidity level and was it placed right inside your beardie's enclosure? Even if the surrounding humidity of the room is high the heating required for a beardie would cause the humdity in the  enclosure to be much lower. The heat lights tend to really dry out an enclosure and make it really difficult to keep humidity high, even for those species that need it.
Make sure you are getting an accurate reading of the humidity right inside the enclosure. If it is high there are a few things that can lower it. Use a smaller water dish. If you spray the beardie for drinking I would soak him daily instead to allow him to drink. If you are using bark as a substrate I would switch to newspaper which will keep the tank drier and is also safer for young beardies. Good ventilation will keep the inside humidity lower, the lid of the enclosure should be screen.
