Juvenile leopard gecko w/abcesses or blisters

Question
One of my juvenile leos, presumed female, has two blister-like swellings behind her forelegs.  The one on the left is slightly larger than the right.  They don't seem to be bothering her.  She eats with as much vigor as she always has and doesn't mind being held.  They don't seem to hurt when touched, but feel like they're filled with puss (as they aren't red to indicate being filled with blood).  I was wondering what this is, whether it's detrimental to her health, and whether I should get a vet to see her.

If I do take her to the vet, what will they do?

Thanks for your help.

Answer
Hi Khrysty,
I believe I sent you a care sheet in a previous answer...if not, let me know.
You aren't using a hot rock, are you?  If yes, then the blisters may be caused from that.
They can also be caused by bites from crickets or or other insects.
You need to have a vet check them out so that they can be properly diagnosed and a probable cause of them found. The vet may culture them, do a scraping, lance them or give you medication for them.
In the meantime, be sure to keep a very clean tank, no sand or other loose substrate. You can also apply some Neosporin ointment to the area...but, be sure to get the vet6 appointment ASAP.
When ever a reptile has blisters, or other injuries, the risk of infection is always present.
Do make sure that she isn't laying on something that can be causing them..IE something hot or even some live plants that can cause blisters, etc. from the sap that they leak.
If you can send a picture, that may give me a better idea also...again, a vet is needed.
