Bunny twitch

Question
I got a male albino rabbit from a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend.. so I don't really know the background of him. He's a great pet, goes potty only in his corner of the cage and doesn't bite!
However, I've noticed that someimtes (may be once a day, may be three times a day) his whole body will twitch and he'll fall over. He lays there for less than a minute and then gets up and is totally fine! And it only happens when he's in his cage, which he's in may be 50% of the day. What would you make of this??
Thank you for your time!
Megan

Answer
Dear Megan,

A very contented rabbit will do the "flop" like this.  It's nothing to worry about if he's eating well and acting normal otherwise.

Remember that a bunny needs plenty of time to run and play, and is safest indoors with the family.  For all the best information on litterbox training, etc., please visit:

Hope that helps.
