Breed of rabbit?

Question

Buddy
I have a rabbit that is a lot larger than my other two. I am no professional on rabbits and although I love having them, I don't know too much about them. I would like to know what type of rabbit he is. I have one that is a mini rex and another that is an albino angora, but this one is different. He resembles a dwarf breed mixed with a flemish giant. Im not sure. Could you maybe help me determine?

Answer
How old is he?  If he is full grown I would say he is probably a small breed of some sort mixed with some other small breed.  If he is still a juvenile (under 6 months old) then he could be just about anything.  He is a chestnut agouti which is the most dominant color of rabbits and can show up in any mixed breed as long as one of the parents is an agouti.  This makes it very difficult to determine the breed.  From the photo I can tell you that he does not fit into any of the recognized breed standards.  Regardless of what he is, he looks like a happy healthy bunny and is very lucky to have you as his bunny mom.

Sorry I could not be of further assistance
