Bleeding Gerbil

I believe I have received an answer from another board.  Thought I would share with you and see if you agree.

Was shown a pic of a scent gland tumour and I believe that's what it is.  He probably chewed it maybe and got it bleeding.  I saw the clear line and the little pimple looking thing.

Oh. You know, none of my guys ever had that and i really am not qualified to answer veterinary questions but i'm sure if someone else said it than i have no reason to believe it is anything else. Just make sure he starts to heal well and if not, get him to a vet. Good luck!!
