Hamster Biting and Fighting

Question
I have two dwarf hamsters who we think are females. They have been living in a cage together ever since they were babies. A couple weeks later one was fighting with the other all of a sudden so we had to seperate them. Why do you think they were fighting? Then the one who went in another cage isnt the same since. Its afraid of us and bites all the time so we cant pick it up. Do you know why and how to stop it? Thank you for your time!

Answer
thanks for the question.  see, hamsters are very independent and the females are harder to train than the males. but the males tend to be more tutorial and will often fight to the death, even if they are littermates. before any of the hamsters get hurt you or the others, seperate them all.since the hamsters are afraid of you use something soft to pick it up with for the transfer.

                    Hope it goes well!!
