should i keep 2 hamsters together?

Hi, i got 2 Syrian hamsters, one is old and one i just bought, I was keeping them separate, i just wonder could I keep them in a same cage? plz I need the answer as soon as possible, thank you so much, have a nice day.

Syrian hamsters are never meant to be housed together, as they begin to age they become very aggressive towards other hamsters and fight for territory. They may seem buddy buddy right now, since young ones don't have territory issues on the mind. Please keep them separate to avoid needless fighting.
