QuestionI try to make my male hamster drink water cause it hibernates for days and not a single drop of water it drinks and i try to make it drink and it doesn't want it i even provide fresh water is there something wrong?
AnswerDear Brandon,
thank you for your question.
Your hamster shouldn't hibernate, you must raise the temperature in the room where its kept to at least 64°F, better more. As long as the hamster hibernates, it's normal for it not to drink, they don't need food or water then (must be offered, though). They wake up as soon as it gets a bit warmer to eat.
I hope I was of some help to you. Merry Christmas!
