My 4 month old pup had pink blood marks on floor.  Could this be the start that she is going on heat.  We have 5 month old boy so I wasn't ecpecting this until 5 to 7 months.

Seems early, but it's possible.  You can use a white tissue and dab her vuluva first thing in the morning.  She will start to swell if she is going into heat.   

Females typically go into heat between 6 - 9 months. Unless they have an abnormal heat cycle, in which case I would consider having her fixed.

It may be that she just lost a tooth.
