Dog Mating?

Hi,
I have 2, 2 year old dogs. I want them to breed. The female stands and the male mounts her, but he only stays for a minute or so, no lock? Can she get prgant that way?
If not what can I do to help her get pregant?

To ensure a sizable litter a lock is required.  If they are kept together 24/7, it could be they aren't interested in each other.  

Try separating them for a day and only allow them to try and mate for 15 - 20 minutes. Anything longer and they both get frustrated.
