Hi, if a bitch is not bred in her first heat cycle, will it be another 6 months
before she goes on heat again?

Hi. A female shouldn't be bred on her first cycle, It depends on the dog if she comes back into heat in 6 months, some wait 8 months, some go into heat only once a year. It really depends on the dog. Smaller dogs tend to come into heat every 6 months though.
