My pickense Named cucu

Hi I am A Seveenteen yr old I have A pickanese Dog ANd Everyday I walk Him I feed Hium And play with  him and all
Last Night Around 12:00 pm My mom had to give him A bath becuase of his scratching she siad He had about a thousand on him well let me tell you a little about cucu He is a male picanese  he is abot 40 yrs old My step dad went in darien georgia one time to take care of some business and he ran into an old friend he was a neighbor of cucu you see he and his dogs were ging to have rotwhiller's puppies born soon and the ownwer's of cucu was not taking care of him at all the neighbor of cucu explained he was always in the streets You could see he was in very poor malnutrition So He offered the dog to my step dad which he would give to my mon who was looking for a cute small dog anyway  After that one day i came home from school This was in ^th grade i came in the back door to my room to watch R;L stines goosebumps on Abc Family And I felt something fuzzy against my leg at first I thought it was a rat and gotten scared anyway well that's how I met him and how we got cucu, Now however he has relly not from too much of  my memory I remember him scratching all the time like he is now  We Have taken him to the vet to get him flea treatments, frontline flea powder and spray it seemes to work but now The treatments are beginning to be to expensive for us to afford (maybeOn ebay I can find some K-9 advantage) or frontline) I just hate to see him suffer like this Well I remember The time she gave cucu A bath At 12:00 in the morning  she had him in the back yard I think I forgot to tell her about the fleas  back their well anyway cucu has been doing alot of scratching and now it is hard to know hwat to do can you help
Also We have just gotten ridden of some kittens we had in our back yard in their little shelter's for a while is it possibe that all those fles spreaded arounf=d and agravated cucu it kind if bothered the family to thay have been jumnping on me too Can You help I just want the besyt for him When I give him baths more often that seems to help but I can't keep giving him baths like that it will roughing his skin and  dry it up tooo much right?

Hi Victoria,  You need to treat the environment where Cucu is living.   The fleas are in your carpetting and such and that is where they are coming from.  You can go to the Dollar store and get flea treatment stuff that you spray on the carpet.  It sits there for about 30 minutes and then you vaccuum it up.  It will kill the fleas & larvae.  On the same day you do this bathe Cucu, and treat him for fleas.  Spray the backyard for fleas too.  That way you are killing them all at once.  That will help get things under control.  Hope this helps,
