Question
Bella is a 1yr old Presa Canario, Staffordshire Terrior mix.  She has what looks like acne around her mouth and vaginal area, she also has a clear thick discharge coming from her vagina and she is "cleaning" herself a lot.

Hi Brandy and Bella, I wonder if she had a urinary infection?  If she has not been spayed, there could also be a problem with vaginal infection.  It's very hard for me to say what is going on.  She may be starting a Heat cycle?  Is she spayed?



** abnormal vaginal discharge can result in excessive licking. Causes of excessive abnormal discharge include:

* Bladder/Urogenital tract infections
* Vaginitis (inflammation of the vagina) or inflammation anywhere in the urogenital tract
* Urinary incontinence (inability to hold urine)


As far as the Acne, it's often called Herpes.  Yes, Pets get herpes...
Dog warts, Cutaneous Papilloma?  Have the vet check her out....
As the Vet seen her at all?  The pimples or warts often go away in 2-4 months.  It's a virus often times.  Please have the Vet take a look at her.
