Question
how do i treat my pups for fleas at 2 weeks old. and how old should they be before i can bath them?

Answer
Hello Sue, You certainly cannot use any flea products or any chemicals for that matter at such a young age.  My advice to you is to give each of them a bath in warm water using joy dish washing detergent to wash the fleas away.  It has been shown that joy dish washing detergent is effective for killing fleas.  Remember the joy is a concentrate so a dab will do ya...so to speak.  and most importantly rinse, rinse, rinse.  You can bathe them this young, just have the room warm and give them a doggie shower instead of emerging them in a sink full of water.  Towel dry them immediately and rub them until they are almost dry.  Remember to also clean/deflea their area and deflea the mom.  Again do not use chemicals on her because the pups are still nursing.  Good Luck, Thanks for asking, Cindy Lou :)
