my dogs eat everything

Question
hi, I have 3 dogs. two pupies of 5 and 6 months and an older one of 2 years. they all are females.
the youngest one is the one I'm most concerned, because she tends to eat everything... and with 'everything' I mean "EVERYTHING". when I'm not watching her she's eating wood, rocks, wool, socks, shoes, paper and even wires.
I'm concerned because anytime she could eat my tv's power cable (she did chew on some cables before but without electricity).

Answer
There are a couple of solutions to your problem.  One, is to not let your dog out of your site.  That means if the dog is out of his crate, he is tethered to you.  If you can't be watching him, he's in his crate.  Two, you can try bitter apple (available at any pet store) and spray it on things the dog likes to chew on.  Unfortunately, with that solution, if there are things you haven't sprayed, the dog will most likely just move on to other things.  It really boils down to watching your dog and having appropriate things for her to chew on.  When  you see her chewing something she's not supposed to be, say NO and redirect her to an appropriate chew toy (bone, rubber toy or even a something like a greenie).  The good news is, she will most likely grow out of this stage.  Good luck.
