rescued golden lab & behavior

Question
My husband & I recently rescued a 1.5 yo golden lab from a very neglectful family. She was clearly underfed and did not get that much attention. We brought her home and have been feeding her right and giving her lots of attention though haven't taken her to a vet yet. We do have another dog ( F 3.5 yo rott/lab mix). They do get along fine and sometimes play. The problem is sometimes the golden lab will pee for no apparent reason other than excited it seems. And it usually is only when my husband pays her attention. We are dumb founded by this behavior. If you have any advice we would love to hear it.
Also, about my other dog, she has been vomiting up what looks like just stomach acid-its brown. She has been checked by a vet and seems in good health. She was tested for heart worms and none were found. Worms were found in her digestive system and has since been taken care of. This was back in Aug. 2004. This vomiting has happened about 2-3 times in a month. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thank You so much,
Marsha Gallegos

Answer
Well, what you could do,is when your husband wants to pay attention to her, take her outside untill she pees, and praise her once she does

As for the other dog,I would get more tests done,as this sounds like it could be a blockage-that can be very serious and would need surgery to have it removed
