I adopted my 7 month old male nuetered dog a week ago yesterday.  I am having issues with him growling at kids.  He is very aggressive with them while he is resting and also when the try to play with him.  He is very excited and wagging his tale, but then he gets nippy and tends to bite.  How do I get him to stop?

What you can do for now is to use a water bottle,spray him and say 'leave it' and that is often a fast way to teach them

However,he is at the age where he would benefit from obedience classes,as this is a challenge for leadership and classes can put you at the top of the pack. You do want to get on top of this while he is still young-so a good idea would be to call a trainer and set up classes
