Question
what should you do if  your  dog has cancer?
can the dog be treated for?
over all what would be the best thing for the dog  

Answer
Unless the cancer has spread too much or the dog is old and near the end of its life, the tumors can be removed.  I don't remember hearing of any other treatment.  Many dogs live for years afterwards.  I knew one that lived about 4 years before the cancer came back and he died suddenly.
