Female dog pregnancy

Yes I double checked with traders, they all know of this. The german breeders of gsh and breeders in switzerland do this injection to make sure you can not breed. This is not very well known or signaificant outside Europe. Also technically, very hard to trace

Dear Miss Perry,
We are about to buy a female labradore for breeding. One of our friends warns us that the seller did an injection so that the female would not be able to get pregnant.

Is there any injection of the type?

Do you think this is valid ?

I don't know of such an injection, but a vet might.  I do know there is one that can be given after the bitch is pregnant that will abort the pups,  but check with the vet to see if something new has come out, possibly in another country

I'm sorry, I have looked on the web and asked a local vet and I can't find anything on this injection.  Has your vet heard of this?

Thank you for the information.   I knew it must be outside of the US.  It is not known here, and is still probably experimental internationally.  where are you located?  the fact that someone told you about the injection means you need to go to another breeder.  If you show the dog, a breeder more apt to let you breed her so their line is well known,  why not go in this direction, if you are in a area where the breeders do this?
