Pom holding back leg up...hopping on three

Approx. a month ago our 10 yr. old female Pom starting holding her right back leg up. I have felt the leg, stretched it down, examined the paw...she doesn't indicate she has any pain. The other day she could not make it up the stairs;she stopped midway up and I picked her up. Any ideas on what is happening? Thank you.

If you cannot find a chiropractor within driving distance, take her to your regular veterinarian. I would recommend starting with X-rays.

I would also put your dog on a good glucosamine/chondroitin supplements with MSM; that may help a bit.
