chiwawa in heat

hi,my chiwawa has been in heat for like 4 or 5 days and i would like to know when could we get her with a male dog so she could get pregnant..would it be during her period or after she is done.because once we got her with a male and nothing happen

I don't breed. I always have mine spayed or neutered, so I don't know a what time they accept a male, but I would think it is about time now. All I can suggest is try again, and see if she is ready to accept. If she isn't try every couple of days.
After he season is over, she will not be able to breed.
It must be done while she is in season.
Different breeds, from what I have read in the last couple of days, accept at different times, and it also depends on the female. Somne vary.
I don't know at what time Chihuahuas accept.
