my chocolate labrador

hi my chocolate Labrador has just come out of season, by 2 days. but today whilst at work she has been very poorly, sickness and diarrhea. when i went to bed she seemed lethargic, but it didn't worry me to much, after some sleep i woke up to hear her making groaning noises, thinking she wanted to go out i got up to find she is struggling to stand up on her back legs, one seems to be in the air, she is still very alert, and the tail is wagging alot, im just worried if something is wrong.

Dear Lee,

Thank you for writing to me about your Lab.  You are right to worry.  This beautiful dog is in excruiating pain, unable to stand properly, groaning.  I'm not sure what else has to happen before she is rushed to emergency?  This situation could be life threatening.  Please rush this dog to a vet on an emergency basis and get her out of her pain and into treatment.
