red spots

ok i have a dog and about a week ago she started getting a rash on her belly red spots now they have spread to her neck and chin  weird thing is i have been told i have chicken pox can dogs get it and if not do u have an idea what it could be

Interestingly enough, I was once treating one of my small children for hives when our little dog broke out in hives. The child was soaking in a baking-soda bath upstairs while I was doing the same to the dog downstairs in the laundry tub. I still think that was pretty freaky.
