Question
My dog seems to have had all her pups but i didnt see any afterbirth what should i do if anything?

Answer
Hi Jeff, Usually, the afterbirths come out or are connected to the pups each time a pup comes out, but sometimes there are pups still in the mother.  The only way you would know for sure is by taking mom for an after check up.  The doc will usually palpate the mother to make sure there is nothing left inside that will hurt her. This is usually done routinely, the doc will also check each pup to make sure they look fine too! Vets usually charge a litter price instead of an individual price, it's usually not bad at all. Good Luck hope mom and pups are doing will,  Sincerely, Angela
