my black lab 2years old got hit by a vehicle i was walking with her without a leach I heard the sound of my dog crying I ran got there she was gone could see blood fallowed blood trail until it stopped calling her she want come could she be hiding herself too die or too heel herself why did she not stay when she was still moving

I am very sorry to hear that.  I am afraid since the original person didn't answer, it may be too late for what little help I can give.  Getting injured is very confusing to the dog.  She may have mostly wanted to get away from where she was hit to avoid getting hurt any more.  She would look for a protected place, in some bushes, under a porch, or anything she could find.  If you haven't searched the area, do so.  

I would also put up fliers in the area and contact animal control and vets' offices in the area.  The longer it goes, the less likely you will find her alive.  Still it will help to know what happened and dispose of the body properly.  I had a dog get loose 10 years ago.  I was up half the night searching and again in the morning.  I was very disappointed when somebody called reporting she had been hit, but that was much better than never knowing what happened.  I went and picked her up and broght her home and buried he in a small wooded area at my home.  Nothing will erase the hurt, but I know what happened.  It looked like she died instantly.
