QUESTION: we are collecting our puppy early march.  We would like 2 so i was wondering how long we should wait before buying a 2nd one? The first one is a boy do we have to get a 2nd male or would it be ok to get a female?

ANSWER: It will probably be best to wait to your first puppy is about 6 months old,that way he has a chance to bond with you first

And male or female doesn't matter,it's what you would prefer

QUESTION: would the new pup want to bond with the first dog do you think? What is the best way to introduce them because we would get another young pup (8wks old) I have read it is best away from the home? While i'm asking do you have any tips for when we bring our puppy home etc. thank you

Well it'll be best to have them sleep in seperate rooms and spend most of the time in seperate areas for a couple of months,so the new puppy can bond to you-but also don't forget your first dog,spend about as much time with the other,just seperatly for a while

You do want them do some things together like playing,also eating side by side is a good idea,so that they don't become possesive of food later in life
