new shelter dog pees when im at work

Hi!  I recently rescued a 3 year old dog from the spca.  She is a beautiful, wonderful girl.  The only problem I am having is that when I'm gone to work she pees on the floor.  I know she can hold it because she will go 10 to 12 hours at night without any problems.  I tried crating her but that didn't help.  Do you think it's just an adjustment?  Anything I can do to correct this behaviour?  Any ideas at all would be great!

What you may want to try is to confine her to a room and put papers down,sometimes when Crate training doesn't work,paper training is often the way to go

Once she goes on the papers,then slowly she may go outside esp if you put the papers near the door

Sometimes it's because when they go into a new home,they are on a different routine then they were before,as she may have gotten used to going outside a lot with volunteers throughout the day
