4 year old shitz shu

hi there i have a 4 year old shitz shu female in the past few months she has lost all her hair on the bottom part of her body like her neck and belly and some parts of her leg she dosent to be in any discomfort she just scratches herself alot.she was red be fore but not so much anymore what could cause this and what can i do about this

Sounds like it may be an allergy. You can try non flavored Benadryl for itching or any discomfort. or have her take an allergy test to get a better idea of what it may be. I have a few clients with small breed of dogs that have bald chests and its allergy related. Hope this helps.
