hi,
my pomeranian has been throwing up these last three mornings, during the day she is a little bit better, what should i do?

Sorry your little one is having this problem, but it should be quite easy to remedy.
From what you have told me, she throws up a little in the am and then gets a little better during the day. This would possibly be an empty stomach problem. Sometimes when a dog does not eat for a while, it will throw up a small amount of bile, which looks kind of yellowish and can have a bit of a foamy appearance. If this is what you are seeing (and I'm not sure without more details), then you can give her a "snack" later at night (say around 10 or 11 at night. It doesn't have to be much, but it should help her to get by until breakfast time. Another thing you could try is to feed her earlier in the morning, before she has a chance to get this upset.

It's always advisable to feed toy breeds at least twice a day (ideally three times) to prevent an empty stomach and blood sugar drops that can occur with these breeds. They are so much smaller than their larger cousins and they have a much faster metabolism, so foods are digested quicker and they tend to need a more consistent feeding regime.
