Questionmy dog went out this morning and pooped lots - a grainy looking poop pile -
then I noticed he had also thrown up sometime during the night - he is very
lethargic and looks sad - I am thinking that the cracker my mother-in-law
fed him last night caused this - they were those thin high fiber crackers - is
that the likely? he hardly ever gets sick and I hate seeing him like this. He
has an appointment tomorrow to be neutured - should I be concerned about
putting him under if he is still not well? he is my life! well, a big part of it...
any help so appreciated!
AnswerDefinitely mention it to your vet. IF he ate too much high fibre crackers they could cause swelling in his intestines and stomach. Let me know how he does. You didn't mention his breed, but large breed dogs are prone to bloat., If this is a large breed dogs, PLEASE watch him carefully. If it was only one cracker, you shouldn't worry too much :)
