Pup bathroom problems

Question
We have a pug that was rescued about two years ago from what we were told was a bad environment. He seemed to adjust quickly and was very happy. but in the past three weeks or so he has just stopped going poo outside. He will urinate outside without a problem, but seems to hold his poo until he comes inside....no matter how long we stay outside with him.

We have tried to figure out what might be causing it but we are stumped. His crate was moved for a few weeks, but all this started well after the crate was moved back to its original spot.

No matter what we do he will always wait to poo until he comes inside. Help!

Answer
Well what you may want to try is to put papers or puppy pads down and see if he will go on that-at least trying to get him to go in the same spot will make it easier for him to go back to going outside again

Also try putting them as close to the door as you can-that way it'll be an easy transition from inside to outside
