Basset hound

My basset hound has two swollen milk sacs and nipples she doesnt seem to feel good. She had a litter of pups a year ago and isnt pregnant now what could this be?

Hi Ashliy,

Nobody can diagnose your dog sight unseen. I can only tell you that you need to have your dog examined by your veterinarian to rule out breast cancer, or Mastitis which is an inflammation, and infection of the breast, or 100 other things.

Your dog needs a lot better than guesswork. Please don't delay any further and take her to a doctor.
