Question
my toy pomeranian is about 6 months old and i was just wondering when her coat would reach it's full length. Her hair now is pretty short and doesn't seem to be getting any longer. And her nose has just recently started to turn tan and it was black? should i be concerned?? She's perfectly healthy and happy, i'm just curious. Thanks!

Answer
Hello Tashauna, A dogs coat takes sometimes up to 2 years to reach it's full maturity,  However most have a full adult coat from 1 year to 1 and 1/2 years old.  As for her nose, that is just a pigment change and not a medical problem, there might be something in her genetic background that brought that out.  Not only will her coat grow full and longer, it will also become thicker and require deeper brushing and combing or she will matte.  Thanks for asking, Cindy Lou :)
