dog stool

Hi Karen,
I'm a little worried about my dog.  She is a mix, but mostly a Minpin.  When she poops, it looks like it is wrapped in a condom.  I know that sounds strange, but it is a pretty good description.  It is clear but yellowish in color and the texture looks very slimy.  I'm worried and thinking she needs to go to the vet, but it ' happen everytime so I don't want to be over zealous.  Thank you.

This is not normal, so I think your dog needs to be seen by a veterinarian. Something is irritating her intestines. Take a stool specimen in, too, so that it can be examined for parasites.
