socializing

My 2 year old dachshund is very un sociative. she was friends with my other dog, a boxer until she started snapping at her even thoue the boxer is more than four times her size. when ever i take her out for walks she starts barking at everyone she sees and she barks out the window at everyone, too. what can i do to make her more socialable??

A good idea that works is to buy a basket muzzle,and let her meet dogs with that on,so she can meet dogs,but not bite them. In time she will realize that other dogs don't want to hurt her,and keep the muzzle on for a few weeks and try again without it
