Question
hello. i have a 1 and half year old australian sheperd who is not fixed (we just got him.) i also have a 3 yr old miniature chiuahuah who is not fixed. my australian sheperd shakes and pants alot even though we have them seperated. is there something wrong with him

Answer
If you are going to have both sexes in the house, the bitch should be spayed. It will prevent her from coming into season, keep her healthier in the long run, and will keep the male a bit calmer, plus prevent accidental breedings. If you really want peace in the house, spay the bitch and neuter the male.
