Foods?

I am a senior in high school, and I'm doing my senoir project on healthy food for dogs, and other pets with paws... :D. But my question for my project is... Do you by chance know any ingredients in dog treats, food, or other things that they may eat, that can be put into food that can be healthy for the dog/pet?

I hope I understand the question and answer it to your satisfaction.
 Most pet foods use corn and whey as a filler with a little portion of chicken , rice , a meat, and some vegetables to round it all off. But as of the last five years quite a few companies have been switching over to using more of the natural products in their foods.
So no they use more chicken,veggies,red meat, and rice
rather than all the other fillers.So all the natural organic foods i prefer my animals to eat are already starting to be put into the pet foods of today and with time can only get better.
